About Biggers Market
Biggers Market is more than a place to grab your local groceries—it’s a destination to gather, explore, and enjoy what’s local. Whether you're picking up produce, relaxing with a scratch-made meal, or finding something new for your home or garden, we’re here to make everyday living a little more meaningful. Rooted in Mindfulness, Community, and Quality, it’s the kind of place folks stick around a little longer—and that’s just how we like it.
Located at 6250 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405, Biggers Market operates as an asian grocery store serving Wilmington in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under food producer, farmers' market, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Wilmington with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in North Carolina may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 9 am–6:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, biggersmarket.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 541 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Wilmington and suggests consistent service.
Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wilmington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My family and I stopped here to check out all the produce during peak summer season. We noticed the ice cream shop immediately and made sure to hit it on the way out. “Homemade Ice cream” is what the sign reads. After ringing the bell a tall women appears. I attempt to order the daily flavors to which she replies thru are out. So I ask “what do you actually have” and she states the truck comes tomorrow and I have ___ these flavors. The Ice cream was over priced and honestly tastes better out of the grocery store carton. She also didn’t accept cash. Staged only on the weekends but there was no sign indicating that. She had her hair down and no gloves. Beyond the poor attitude was nothing worth a return in the future. Do better.

Absolutely amazing! Maybe it's just us, but we get excited about produce and this place does such a great job keeping everything rotated and fresh! The homemade icecream 🤤 sooo good... Lastly, I just want to say everyone here genuinely looks happy to work here, are all super friendly and working hard. We'll be back 😊

Coming here makes me wish I lived close. They have SO much. There is produce, snacks, a seafood counter, take and bake, drinks, a bar, a kitchen, Icecream, and (right now) so many pumpkins and squashes you wouldn’t need to go to a pumpkin patch. They have planters and outdoor Adirondack chairs. There are several areas that are just asking for you to snap a pic there. I could walk around here for hours. And go on the right day and time? I heard there is sometimes live music!

Such a great farmers market! Since we were visiting from out of town, the prepared food options saved us! It was so nice to have what felt like home cooked meals while we had a few days in Wilmington. They even had a cute bar section that included Frozes!

This is the best farmers market I have ever been to by far. Not only do they have a wide variety of fresh local produce and artisan goods, but they also feature a bar with draft beer and a large selection of local beers in their fridges. The quality of the produce is always top-notch. They have live music on Sundays and a restraunt they recently opened on location. Kid and pet friendly, and very nice and helpful staff.
